Export to Altium
Lance Cassidy
The ability to export to Altium makes it easier for PCB design for Altium users. (from Brittany at http://viam.com/)

Altium has pretty robust Kicad project import
Be good to understand what the shortcomings of that are

yes, I love the idea
I know that developers use the macOS, so to check the exported files they can use https://www.altium.com/viewer/

Matthias: If you go for STMicroelectronics, Texas Instruments, Nordic Semiconductor or other big players to get support for dev boards(the starting point for your new product) then you will see that all schematics are made in Altium Designer(of course if you don't look for some old, "classic" products)
Even more, you can easily download reference layout design, example projects, etc as an Altium project and start working on your project immediately. If you not using the Altium then you need to open a PDF version of the schematic and redraw it to your CAD system, without any errors. Same for PCB layout.
But if you can open it in Flux then you can easily see the benefit of using Flux))
