GND Fill not working
N
Nabhan Fakrudin
I have a project where I have various circuits in a 6-layer board. I have common ground, supply, and logic that fill in the PCB. Although I didn't observe any issues with other fills, specifically in the GND fill, I have a terminal connected to the GND that's not being filled (it's called GND-Supp terminal in the project). Additionally, when I try to force the fill by adding a connected layer object-specific rule and connecting Top, ML2, ML4, and Bottom coppers, which are all GND planes, the non-connected layers are brought closer to the through-hole terminal, which is scary, but the actual fill is also not working. It is super dangerous that unconnected pins are connecting. This issue was previously present, and I had attended a meeting with Nico regarding it, but it seems to have returned. All debugging approaches are tried, including cache clear, browser change, restart, shutdown, etc.

Hi Nabhan
Thank you for reaching out to us again. This seems like really dangerous behaviour. I'm trying to follow along with your description and I need a few clarifications before escalating the issue;
- You've mentioned the GND-Suppterminal in the project, however, I can't seem to locate it. Could you please confirm that it's still there.
- I see that GNDnet has the following connected layersTop,ML2,ML4andBottomwhich is in direct conflict withNet 29which has the same connected layers;Top,ML2,ML4,Bottomand additionallyML3. Is that intentional?
